The Boerne Thrift, Consignment + Resale Guide

If you love a good thrift-store treasure hunt, Boerne actually has a surprising number of places to shop secondhand — and lately, that list has been growing!
So whether you're looking for kids' clothes, furniture, home décor, something vintage, or a place to give your own stuff a second life, here's where to start.
THRIFT SHOPS IN BOERNE
These are the true thrift shops — and one of my favorite things about this list is that your purchases at these stores help support organizations serving people and animals in our community.
The Closet Thrift Shop
📍 17 Old San Antonio Rd.
⏰ Monday–Friday | 9 AM–3 PM
This is one that can be easy to forget about because it's tucked inside The Center at Kronkosky Place!
The Closet carries clothing, accessories, jewelry, shoes, household goods, art and gift items. They also have a seasonal Holiday Shop that pops up from early November through mid-December.
Even better, the money raised through the shop benefits The Center and its programs for older adults in our community.
Boerne Love tip: Put this one on your weekday thrifting list because it isn't open on the weekends.
Thrift Store - Hill Country Animal League
📍 115 W. Bandera Rd.
⏰ Monday–Friday | 9 AM–5 PM
⏰ Saturday | 9 AM–4 PM
This is one of those classic Boerne thrift stores where you really never know what you'll find.
They carry clothing, shoes, jewelry, household items, linens, furniture and more. If you're decluttering, they also accept many of those same gently used items as donations.
The BEST part is that shopping here helps support Hill Country Animal League and its work providing affordable veterinary care, including low-cost spay and neuter services.
They also currently have 10% discount days:
- Tuesday — Seniors
- Wednesday — Teachers + students
- Friday — Military + first responders
Boerne Love tip: Don't forget to look beyond the clothing racks. This is a good old-fashioned treasure-hunting thrift store.
Fabulous Finds Thrift Store
📍 934 N. School St.
⏰ Tuesday–Saturday | 10 AM–4 PM
Fabulous Finds has more of an upscale thrift/boutique feel and carries quality secondhand clothing, household items and furniture. New donations arrive daily, so the inventory is always changing.
But there's an even bigger reason to shop here: 100% of the proceeds benefit Kendall County Women's Shelter. Donated items can also be given directly to shelter clients when appropriate.
If you're cleaning out your house, Fabulous Finds has a separate Donation Station at 930 N. School St.
Boerne Love tip: Put this one on your list if you like a little more of that boutique-style thrift experience while still getting thrift-store prices.
Faith & Funky Junk
📍 39320 I-10 W.
⏰ Tuesday–Saturday | 10 AM–5 PM
⏰ Sunday | 11 AM–4 PM
This is the BIG warehouse-style thrift shop on the north side of Boerne, and it's definitely for people who enjoy the treasure-hunting part of thrifting. They even have a shed filled with only kid items but note it says Christmas Shed on the outside.
You'll find everything from clothing and shoes to furniture, décor and all kinds of random treasures. The City of Boerne describes it pretty perfectly: you never know what you will find!
Faith & Funky Junk's mission is to provide programs that bring essential funds, services and referrals directly to individuals, families and their pets in need.
Boerne Love tip: Give yourself time to DIG here. This isn't a tiny boutique — finding the unexpected is part of the fun.
Sisters' Attic
📍 216 W. Highland Dr.
⏰ Tuesday–Saturday | 10 AM–4 PM
Sisters' Attic is tucked away on the grounds of the Benedictine Sisters of Boerne and is another true little treasure-hunting thrift shop.
They carry gently used clothing, furniture, housewares, books, specialty items, children's items and household collectibles — and yes, they accept credit cards now!
Your purchases help support the Benedictine Sisters' Boerne ministries.
They also accept donations of good, clean clothing, furniture, housewares, dishes, glassware, baskets, collectibles and books, although they recommend calling before bringing items over.
Boerne Love tip: It is cash or check only!
Random Hangers + The Warehouse
📍 114 W. Advogt St.
⏰ Random Hangers: Tuesday–Friday | 10 AM–3 PM
⏰ Saturday | 9 AM–2 PM
Random Hangers is operated by Hill Country Family Services, and there's actually MORE here than just the clothing shop.
Random Hangers carries seasonal and designer clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories, while The Warehouse is where you'll want to look for art, household goods, gifts and other finds. New merchandise is added regularly.
All of the donated merchandise is sold to help Hill Country Family Services serve families in crisis throughout Kendall County. HCFS says thrift-shop purchases and donations help support 50% of its agency programs and services.
Boerne Love tip: Don't stop after looking through Random Hangers — make sure you check The Warehouse too!
Haute Second by Transformation House
📍 916 Blanco Rd., Suite 600
This one is different because you only get two chances a month to shop it!
⏰ Second Thursday of the month | 4:30–8 PM
⏰ Last Saturday of the month | 8:30–11:30 AM
Haute Second is Transformation House's boutique resale pop-up featuring curated designer, boutique and name-brand fashion, accessories and home décor.
And this is another place where your shopping has a bigger purpose: purchases support Transformation House and women and children rebuilding their lives after domestic violence.
They also accept new and gently used household items and women's and children's clothing by appointment, with donated items shared with the families they serve first.
Boerne Love tip: Put this one on your calendar because you can't just pop in whenever you're in the mood to thrift!
CONSIGNMENT + RESALE SHOPS IN BOERNE
This is where Boerne has REALLY changed lately.
In addition to our longtime nonprofit thrift shops, we're getting more places to shop curated secondhand pieces — and more options for making a little money from things you're ready to let go of.
Linen & Dove
📍 1201 S. Main St., Suite 107
This is one of Boerne's newest resale concepts, and it's completely different from a traditional consignment shop.
Instead of dropping off a few pieces and waiting for them to sell, Linen & Dove has 70+ mini consignment closets that local sellers can rent for a week.
Closet Curators pay $35 for the week, choose what they want to sell, set their own prices and set up their little shop. Linen & Dove handles the actual sales, and sellers receive two-thirds of what they sell.
And it isn't just women's clothing!
Depending on who's selling that week, you might find men's and women's clothing, children's clothes and toys, home décor, books, accessories, luxury pieces, handmade items and all kinds of random treasures. The closets change every week, so the inventory is constantly rotating.
Boerne Love tip: I LOVE this concept for moms because you can shop it OR use it as motivation to finally clean out those closets. 😂
Queen Bee Consignment
📍 404 S. Main St.
⏰ Monday–Saturday | 10 AM–5:30 PM
⏰ Sunday | 11 AM–3 PM
This one is BRAND NEW on Main Street!
Queen Bee Estate Services expanded into a consignment shop, with the Greater Boerne Chamber celebrating its ribbon cutting on August 6, 2026.
Current inventory listings show lots of furniture and home pieces, making this a fun one to check if you're decorating, downsizing, estate-sale shopping or just love seeing what unique pieces come through.
Boerne Love tip: Because this one JUST opened, I'm excited to see how the inventory evolves. Definitely one to keep checking rather than visiting just once.
Two Trick Pony Consignment
📍 346 S. Main St.
⏰ Tuesday–Saturday | 10 AM–5 PM
⏰ Sunday | 11 AM–3 PM
Two Trick Pony isn't new — they've actually been around since 2014 — but they absolutely belong in a Boerne secondhand guide.
This is where you're going when you're looking more for higher-end furniture and home décor than kids' clothes or traditional thrift-store finds.
They specialize in quality pre-owned furniture, designer furnishings and vintage pieces in great condition, and they also offer consignment services if you have nice furniture you're ready to sell.
Boerne Love tip: Looking for a couch, dining table or statement piece for your house? I'd add this one to your list before automatically buying new.
Beyond Blessed Keepsakes
📍 1014 N. Main St. in the Live Oak Shopping Center
⏰ Tuesday–Thursday | 11 AM–5 PM
⏰ Friday–Saturday | 11 AM–6 PM
Beyond Blessed Keepsakes opened in July 2025 and specializes in antiques, vintage pieces, furniture, collectibles and home décor.
You'll find furniture like tables, chairs and cabinetry along with dishes, décor, collectibles and a particularly large selection of crystal and glassware. There's also a section of faith-based books, gifts and apparel.
Boerne Love tip: Come here when you're more interested in finding something with character for your HOME than digging through racks of clothing.
Bonus Bargain Spot: Lucky Penny
Not technically a thrift store, but if you love the thrill of finding a deal, add Lucky Penny to your radar!
Lucky Penny is a local online boutique and liquidation business selling brand-new clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories at deeply discounted prices. Owner Penny sources liquidation pallets, which means inventory is always changing and you never quite know what you’ll find.
📍 229 Market Ave., Suite 101, Boerne
🕐 NEW STORE HOURS — Starting Monday, August 24
Monday–Friday | 10 AM–4 PM
Saturday | 10 AM–2 PM
Sunday | Closed
You can also shop Lucky Penny online through Poshmark. (opens in a new tab)
✨ Think brand-new merchandise at bargain-hunting prices — and now you can shop the warehouse throughout the week!
