Enjoy an evening under the stars at Guadalupe River State Park's Star Party, hosted with the San Antonio Astronomical Association!
Members of the association and park staff will have telescopes set up to help visitors explore the night sky. Get a closer look at the moon, planets, constellations, and more while learning about the wonders of astronomy!
This is a come-and-go event, so families can stop by anytime between 8:00 and 10:00 PM.
What to Know:
- Look for the large blue "Stargazing Tonight" sign near the overflow parking lot.
- If arriving after park office hours without a reservation, use the self-pay station or reserve a day pass online.
- The event is weather-dependent. Any cancellation due to cloud cover or weather will be posted by 2:00 PM on the event day.
Bring the family for a memorable night of stargazing in the Hill Country!
