Boerne Community Rag Rug Making

📅 Dates: Saturday, October 24
⏰ Time: 12:30–2:00 PM
📍 Location: Kuhlmann-King Historic House Museum
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 All ages welcome

The Kuhlmann-King Historic House Museum is inviting kids and grown-ups to help create a special Boerne Community Rag Rug! Inspired by Sophie Blackall’s children’s book Story Rug, this hands-on community project will bring everyone together to create a braided rag rug that will eventually be displayed at the historic house.

Bring 2–5-foot strips of fabric and help braid and coil them into the growing rug. Kids will get to contribute to something created by their community—and know that a piece of their handiwork will become part of a Boerne landmark!

Space is limited, so please let the organizers know if you plan to attend.
